The cleanest waste-to-energy power plant in the world, CopenHill works to convert over 440,000 tons of waste into clean energy annually. It is the only power plant in the world with a year round, open-air ski slope on the roof!

When launched in 2011, CopenHill (or Amager Bakke in Danish) was the single largest environmental initiative in Denmark, and redefines the relationship between the waste plant and the city as an urban amenity.
